99 Nights in Mine – Stalker’s Forest is a tense survival horror game set in a blocky, pixel-style world inspired by sandbox classics. You wake up alone in a dark forest with one simple objective: survive as many nights as possible. But nothing about it feels simple. As daylight fades, a mysterious creature, the Stalker, emerges, turning the forest into a deadly hunting ground. Your only real protection is a campfire, and keeping it alive becomes the difference between survival and being hunted down in the darkness.
The gameplay revolves around a repeating but increasingly intense cycle: explore during the day, prepare before sunset, and survive through the night. During daylight, you gather essential materials like wood, branches, and planks while scouting your surroundings. As the sun begins to set, urgency kicks in you must return to your campfire and make sure it’s strong enough to last through the night.
Once darkness falls, everything changes. Visibility drops, tension rises, and the Stalker begins to hunt. The fire becomes your only safe zone, forcing you to stay close while managing its fuel carefully. If the fire burns out, even for a moment, you become vulnerable. Each night introduces more pressure, as the creature grows faster and more aggressive, turning survival into a test of both preparation and nerves.

In the early stages, not all materials are equally useful. Prioritize collecting wood and planks since they burn longer and provide more reliable protection during the night. Instead of picking up everything you see, focus on dense resource areas where you can gather quickly and efficiently.
When starting out, it’s tempting to explore far into the forest. However, this often leads to getting lost or running out of time before nightfall. Stick to nearby areas until you understand the layout and safe routes back to your campfire.
