Dress to Impress is a fashion competition game where everyone gets the same theme but ends up creating completely different looks. The goal sounds easy: make an outfit, walk the runway, and earn votes. The reality is a little different.
When I first started playing, I thought more accessories automatically meant more votes. I kept piling on hats, bags, jewelry, and random extras. Most of those outfits finished near the bottom. It turns out players notice when an outfit actually matches the theme.
I used to run straight to the clothing racks the moment a round started. Halfway through, I'd realize I wasn't even sure what look I was trying to make. Spending a few seconds thinking about the theme saved me from a lot of bad outfits.
There was a point where every outfit I made looked like I emptied an entire closet onto my character. Once I started choosing accessories that actually matched the outfit, my rankings improved.
More than once, I finished the clothing part and forgot about everything else. Then I'd walk the runway with a great outfit and a default face. Those extra details matter more than I expected.

One round had a theme I barely understood, so I stopped trying to create something flashy and focused on making everything match. I didn't expect much from it, but that outfit finished much higher than my heavily layered designs.
That's when I realized Dress to Impress isn't really about wearing the most items. It's about making an outfit that looks like it belongs together.
If you enjoy fashion games, outfit design, and a little friendly competition, Dress to Impress is surprisingly addictive. You'll probably tell yourself you're only playing one round, then suddenly realize you've been voting on outfits for the last hour.
